Lawrence Area Catbackers - About Us
Introduction to Lawrence Area Catbackers
The Lawrence Area Catbackers is a Kansas State University sponsored club that
supports K-State athletics through donations, membership fees, and fundraisers.
Currently, the two fundraisers are the Jake Ochs Golf Classic held in June at
Alvamar Country Club, and the Football Kickoff Classic held in August at The
Eldridge Hotel. In addition to the support of Kansas State Athletics, we annually
fund two scholarships awarded to graduating Douglas County high school
seniors who will attend Kansas State University.Our fundraising efforts are complemented by our desire to get together at watch parties for away football and basketball games, and tailgating parties at home football games.
